The
Difference is in the Bonding Process
Brandywine Abrasives offers diamond products in either conventional
electro-plated or with our Brazed method.
The brazed process of diamonds creates a fusion between the diamonds and the metal bond. Two significant advantages result:
- The diamonds will not pull out.
- The bond thins out in the area between the particles making the diamond non-clogging which results in faster cutting with less heat.
The conventional electroplated manufacturing process merely traps the diamond particles by the metal bond. The diamond particles — which have no undercuts, easily pull out. Furthermore, the bond must be made thicker, and this creates clogging.
